Ford has released an all-new Ranger for 2019. Ford has kept Ranger fans waiting for almost a decade before bringing updates and a reintroduction for Ford's superstar of a midsized pickup truck. The new 2019 Ranger sports ample power under the hood with a turbocharged engine as well as a host of options and modern safety features. What 2019 Ford Ranger models are available in Chattanooga?
Ford brings the Ranger back to U.S. dealerships in two cab options and three trim levels. Standard on all Ranger models for 2019 is Ford's Sync 3 technology, collision mitigation, and lane keeping assist. Under the hood for the 2019 Ford Ranger is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine to power you throw town and country drives. With most of the features of the upper trims available as add ons for the other trims, buyers are able to mix and match to fit their specific and to create the perfect Ranger to take on Chattanooga in their own style.
Starting the 2019 Ford Ranger trim level line up is the Ranger XL. The XL comes packed with a manually locking tailgate, automatic headlights, power windows, cloth upholstery, a four-speaker stereo system with AM/FM radio, air conditioning, 16-inch steel wheels, a 3.5-inch center screen, a rearview camera, a USB port, and an auxiliary jack. Also included is forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.
Moving just beyond the XL is the 2019 Ranger XLT. The XLT adds on to the XL with front and rear parking sensors, foglights, an upgraded grille, cruise control, automatic high beams, Ford's Co-Pilot360 system, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 110-volt power outlet, a 4.2-inch center screen with Ford Sync, an extra USB port, keyless entry with remote tailgate locking, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo.
Following the XLT is the 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat. The Lariat grabs all of the equipment from the XLT and packs in the additions of LED headlights and taillights, an LED cargo lamp, power-adjustable and heated front seats, leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch center touchscreen with Ford's Sync 3 interface, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Ford is also offering a variety of add ons and options for each 2019 Ranger trim level. The FX4 Off-Road Package is ready to go on the XL, XLT, and the Lariat. This package offers buyers underbody skid plates, a terrain management system, off-road tires, upgraded shocks and suspension tuning, an electronically locking rear axle, front tow hooks, and a low-speed crawl control system called Trail Control. Ford has also created a Trailer Tow package for the 2019 Ranger in Chattanooga. The tow package is available for all trims and adds a Class IV trailer hitch as well as a four-pin/ seven-pin wiring harness for those that need to carry their work with them.
